Our story began on a small island off the east coast of Australia. Country boy on the career grind, meets coastal girl chasing a new summer adventure. Both from two very different worlds fell in love with each other and the simple lifestyle.
After two years of exploring every inch of the island, chasing every sunset, good surf break and beach day with our friends - Lachy followed Kristy back to her home on the Gold Coast.
We continued our daily ritual of enjoying the sunset at the beach but often our beach picnics were cut short by sore elbows.
Looking around we noticed just how many other people were doing the same thing - but just like us they too were struggling to get comfortable . Either propped back on their elbows or hunched forward over their crackers and dip.
Lachy said “There has to be a better way to do this” - and now there is.
We got to work- making prototypes, perfecting the design, teaching ourselves how to sew, and enlisting the help of our friends to test our new invention.
One year later we have the answer to all your problems (well maybe not all your problems, but we can certainly help you relax 😉).
